Diploma Replacement

Drexel University will reissue diplomas for alumni who have lost or damaged a diploma. All new diplomas will be issued by Drexel University and have an embossed statement at the bottom of the diploma to verify that it replaces a diploma previously issued. It will not be an exact duplicate of the original diploma.

If you are a Drexel University alumnus and need a new diploma, follow these instructions:

1. Send a notarized statement to the Office of the University Registrar (see addresses listed below) stating the reason for the diploma replacement. If the original diploma has been lost or destroyed, the statement must indicate this in your request. Graduates of the University City Main Campus can submit the Application for Diploma Replacement form [PDF].
2. If your original diploma has been damaged, it must be mailed to the Office of the University Registrar. It will be destroyed when the new diploma is issued. Drexel will not issue additional diplomas.
3. Please tell us the exact way your name appeared on the original diploma; it will always be the name under which you attended. You must also provide the exact date the original diploma was issued. If you graduated from the University's College of Medicine, list the appropriate issuing institution: Women's Medical College, Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, Hahnemann University School of Medicine, MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine, or Drexel University College of Medicine.
4. Include a $50.00 check payable to Drexel University.
5. Mail your completed request to the appropriate address below.
