B.S. in Education

The School of Education's Bachelor of Science in Education program is designed primarily to prepare 21st century educators for pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school teaching positions. The degree, however, also serves as a foundation for a myriad of other career opportunities including educational gaming and software development, instructional design and corporate training for businesses and corporations, and college/university administration, in addition to providing a strong foundational underpinning for graduate school.

Co-op: The Drexel Difference

Students in the School of Education participate in one six-month cooperative education (co-op) experience in a professional position related to their area of certification. For example, a student seeking certification in chemistry might co-op in the chemical industry. The co-op occurs during the fall and winter of a student's sophomore year.
