Undergraduate Programs
Make a Difference in Tomorrow's World
The School of Education’s undergraduate programs are designed for individuals who are interested in becoming certified teachers at the pre-school, elementary, middle and secondary levels.
Drexel University's Education program is unique in that it is the only one in the nation that includes a co-op experience directly related to your major area of certification. In addition to the 12-week student teaching experience required for certification, School of Education students participate in diverse field experiences to prepare them for a career in teaching.
Program Options
The School of Education offers several options for first-time college students, current Drexel students, transfer students and career-changers who wish to pursue a career in education:

A Minor in Education
For students who wish to explore the field of education but who do not wish to pursue teacher certification, the School of Education offers a Minor in Education. Any non-education major may pursue course work for a Minor in Education with the permission of the School of Education and the student's program advisor.
