This experience offers a balance of volunteer work, cultural, and learning activities from Drexel faculty and local educators/researchers/scientists, visiting various historical sites in the Andean Mountains, and assisting in the compilation of field research on the Andean Condor, among other activities. All participants will complete a final service-learning project matching the skills and interests of the group with the needs of the host community. Project options include:

* Ecotourism project with community of Chicon;
* Preventative health education;
* Environmental protection initiatives & education;
* Reforestation efforts with local communities; and/or
* Installation of clean burning stoves with families.
