Education Professor Receives No Child Left Behind Grant

Goodwin
College's School of Education is pleased to announce that Dr. Ellen
Clay, an auxiliary assistant professor, has been selected to receive a
grant of up to $299,722 (through September 2011) from Pennsylvania's
Department of Education.
The
grant, funded by 2001's No Child Left Behind Act, will be used to offer
assistance for regular and special education mathematics and science
teachers to become "highly qualified" as defined by the Act.
