The School Superintendent Certification Program is only available as a component one of the School of Education's doctorate programs:
The course work that comprise the certification program include the following courses and internships.
- EDUC 801 Creative Strategies for Educational Leaders*
- EDUC 813 Educational Issues Seminar*
- EDUC 817 Curriculum Models
- EDUC 820 School Superintendency
- EDUC 824 Parents and Schools
- EDUC 827 School Superintendent Internship I -- Curriculum Models**
- EDUC 828 School Superintendent Internship II -- Parents and Schools**
- EDUC 829 School Superintendent Internship III
- EDUC 830 School Superintendent Internship IV
*All Ph.D. and Ed.D. students take these courses as a component of their regular doctoral program of study.**EDUC 827 is to be taken concurrently with EDUC 817 or after its successful completion. EDUC 828 is to be taken concurrently with EDUC 824 or after its successful completion. These internships may not be taken before enrolling in their corresponding courses.
