Professional Development

The best educators commit to lifelong learning, increasing their skills and knowledge base to make themselves more marketable and a greater asset to their schools or organizations.

The School of Education’s Professional Development Certificates are a unique way for students to learn more in specific area(s) of interest, while adding professional credentials to their resume. Students continue their education, while strengthening teaching, leadership, or administrative skills.

A distinct advantage of the Professional Development Certificates is that they are taken at the discretion of the student—9 credits at a time—accommodating the student’s schedule, particular interests and financial situation. Credits from up to four completed certificates can be applied to the Master of Science in Education Improvement and Transformation.

Each certificate consists of nine credits. They are offered entirely online and may be taken in any order.
