When Shahla Mazdeh entered the Ph.D. program in 2004, it was newly offered at Drexel.
“I am honored to be among the first individuals who participated in the program and provided feedback for its improvement,” Mazdeh says.
Her field of interest was Engineering Education, and her dissertation was titled, “Women Engineers and the Influence of Childhood Technologic Environment.”
“The best part of the program, from my point of view, was my cohort,” Mazdeh says. “The program has developed over the years, and I’m sure it will continue to expand and improve.”
