It's an exciting time to be part of Goodwin College’s School of Education.
Society benefits directly from the research, technology, creativity, and hard work generated by those working in the field of education at all levels. Part of the work of a school of education is to help coordinate, inspire, and continuously develop the knowledge and skills of education professionals. This task is an important responsibility and the School of Education takes it very seriously.
The opportunities and obstacles that confront learners through the lifespan require new concepts, new strategies, and new commitment on the part of educators everywhere. As part of the new Goodwin College, we strive to address the needs of a socially, economically, and racially diverse group of multi-generational learners through flexible, leading-edge learning.
Our faculty is directly engaged in formal and informal approaches to learning through schools and colleges, cultural organizations, and the community. As a means of enhancing the success of this bold commitment, we integrate technology into our teaching, our research, and our outreach activities.
The School of Education welcomes and invites you to participate in our various educational and certification programs as a student, alumnus, interested community member, or prospective faculty or partner.
