Victor Tringali joined Drexel in August 2010 as the first Director of University Wellness, tasked with leading the newly created A Healthier U initiative for students, faculty, and staff, which focuses on physical, emotional, and financial wellness. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry as an entrepreneur, consultant, and world-recognized athlete.
As an entrepreneur, Tringali founded, developed, and successfully managed three health and fitness businesses in the Baltimore/Washington area, as well as created and developed the Team Vic brand of nutritional supplements and exercise software. As a consultant, he provided health and fitness programs for a variety of population sub-segments including women, physically challenged persons, and elite athletes. He has been an author, lecturer, and guest presenter for numerous schools and corporations on various topics of health and fitness and was a world-recognized bodybuilding champion with multiple titles and awards.
Tringali received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health from Salisbury University and a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University. He has specialized training and certifications in Performance Enhancement and Strength and Conditioning from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, The American College of Sports Medicine, and the Delaware Valley Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership Team.
