Michele Rovinsky-Mayer joined Drexel in 2008 as the Executive Director for the Office of Equality and Diversity, was promoted in 2009 to Assistant Vice President, and was promoted in 2011 to Associate Vice President.
Rovinsky-Mayer, an attorney and mediator, received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1992. Prior to joining Drexel, Rovinsky-Mayer practiced employment and civil rights law. She has represented both colleges and universities and employees in work-related disputes, including discrimination and civil rights matters.
Rovinsky-Mayer is a trained and experienced mediator, having mediated for, among others, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
