In 2000, Anthony Caneris facilitated the $14 million construction of East Hall, which was completed in just 11 months and served to increase student housing by 312 beds. Designed by Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann Associates and constructed by P. Agnes, Inc., using a state-of-the-art structural framing system that allows greater flexibility because of an open floor-to-floor area.

Renamed Anthony Caneris Hall by the Board of Trustees on February 28, 2007 in recognition of Mr. Caneris’ 11 years of outstanding and devoted service to every facet of University Life. Dedicated on May 31, 2007.
