Through the generosity of two alumni, Stephen Plotkin '63, '69 and Marcia Plotkin '64, '70, financial assistance has been made available to help students with the expense of an international co-op. For each co-op cycle the SCDC will award eligible students an amount of $1,000 to $2,500 each.

There is no special application process for this program. Students who meet the following criteria will be considered for the award:

• Students who have identified a co-op experience prior to going abroad and have submitted all the required paperwork within the first two weeks of co-op;
• Students currently receiving financial aid;
• Students whose co-op experience is an unpaid one;
• Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher;
• Students who must pay for room and board abroad; and
• Students who are not going home for co-op.
