On behalf of Drexel University and the staff of the Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC), I am delighted to welcome you to our web site.We have made every effort to bring you information which reflects material students, employers and alumni require to effectively utilize the many services offered by the SCDC.

The mission of the SCDC is to serve students and alumni in cooperative education, graduate placement and career services.The SCDC staff integrates cooperative education experiences with students’ academic programs by teaching and prioritizing successful career management skills to empower students & alumni to construct career paths that maximize personal satisfaction.In career placement, the SCDC staff extends these principles to provide career advising, formal testing for those in career transition, placement for Drexel University students and alumni as well as expert advice in pre-law and pre-medical and graduate health programs.

The Steinbright Career Development Center is one of the most highly regarded co-op and career service programs in the world. As such, our professionals work every day to insure that students and alumni obtain the maximum from their experiential education and career placement activities. This is achieved through personal counseling as well as through the use of advanced technology systems to provide excellent service delivery for our students, alumni and employers who are our partners in this enhanced model of education known as experiential education.Each year, more than 9500 Drexel students are enrolled in co-op programs and the SCDC effectively manages more than 4,500 student placements into cooperative education work experiences for both undergraduate and graduate students.
