  • On the rank form you can increase or decrease your number of openings by clicking on the appropriate link. There is also a link if you need to decline all the candidates. You can only make as many offers as there are openings.
  • You can Rank students as:
    1. "OFFER" (offer the student your job) meaning you want to offer that candidate a position.
    2. "ALTERNATE" (select as an alternate) meaning if your first choice (offer) doesn't accept, you could possibly be matched with an alternate choice.
    3. "Decline" (No Interest) making sure you are not matched with that student.

If you rank a student as 'offer' or 'alternate' and you are paired with that student during the optimal pairing process, you are obligated to hire that student.

  • Once you 'rank' a student, a compensation screen will appear. You must enter the Gross Weekly Salary you are offering that student at this time. You may also include any additional compensation, i.e. stipend for transportation, housing, etc. you are offering the student at this time however, this is optional. Please note, you will need to enter this information for EACH student whom you wish to rank as offer or alternate.
  • The 'gross salary' that you input is considered a financial commitment which you are obligated to pay should you be matched with the student.
  • Continue making your rankings until you have ranked all of your candidates. If you do not rank a particular candidate that candidate will see "No Employer Interest" when they view their rankings.
