The Toshihisa "Tosh" Nomura Fund for Cooperative Education in Japan

Through the generosity of a Drexel alum, Toshihisa Nomura ‘50, there is a fund for students who choose to go to Japan for their co-op experiences. This award can be used to help with expenses such as transportation and housing.

For students to be considered for these funds, they must write a personal essay explaining their interest in going to Japan, submit two letters of recommendation, demonstrate responsibility and maturity, be enrolled full-time at Drexel and be making sufficient academic progress. Ideally, candidates will have successfully completed one previous co-op, however, exemplary candidates with no prior co-op experience will be considered. All majors are eligible.
