Co-op 101: Professional Development and Career Development
Certificate of Merit

The Professional Development and Career Management Certificate of Merit recognizes students who consistantly demonstrate outstanding effort during Co-op 101.

Employers value this Certificate as it demonstrates a high level of commitment to your career and that you have acquired the skills necessary to make you a valuable employee. Receipt of this Certificate helps to make you a more desirable candidate during your co-op job search.

To Qualify

Attendance, assignments, and class participation are all considered in awarding the Certificate. In order to qualify, you must:

  • Attend the nine mandatory sessions
  • Submit all required assigments by the due date
  • Have an above average resume
  • Show initiative, interest, and enthusiasm in learning
  • Be prepared for class and actively participate in class activities and discussions

Certificates will be awarded at the end of the quarter.
