International Co-op

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in Drexel University's International Co-op program, students must:

• Attend Drexel full-time
• Be in good academic standing (a minimum GPA of 2.5)
• Have successfully completed at least one co-op experience with an acceptable or above average evaluation or in lieu of a co-op experience, equivalent prior work experience will be considered and evaluated
• Other requirements include foreign language proficiency (depending on country), and a personal interview with an international team member.

In order to have sufficient time to prepare for the experience, students are urged to plan ahead. As early as freshman year, students should make an appointment with an international international team member to have a brief discussion of available opportunities and to be informed of the process.

Approval Process

To be approved for an international co-op you must be a full-time student and in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and meet with a member of the international team. Upon meeting with a team member, you will be given an application form which must be completed and submitted to the team member.

Before accepting a position abroad, you must have been approved to do an international co-op and have had your job description reviewed by your co-op coordinator, both are required.
