Nathan Schiff digs for dinosaurs while on co-op
Nathan Schiff, biological sciences, digs for dinosaurs in Utah while on co-op with Dr. Mary Schweitzer, North Carolina State University.

Increasingly, students are participating in co-ops outside of the Philadelphia area. Sometimes this is in response to the needs of a particular major: New York for fashion students, Los Angeles for film students, Washington, D.C. for political science majors. Equally important is the specific experience that can be gained by working for companies not located in our area such as Microsoft, NASA, and Amazon.com. A national co-op allows students to develop a broad professional network, experience a different work cultural and environment, and explore another region of the United States.
