On-Campus Interviews: Primary vs. Alternate Candidates

If you have been selected for an on-campus interview, you will be designated as “Accepted” or as an “Alternate” within each job in SCDConline. For winter 2008 recruiting, you may log back in to SCDConline on February 13, 2008 to review your interview selection status.

If you are Accepted for an interview, you have two days on which you may sign up for interviews; it is your responsibility to be aware of appropriate deadline dates to sign up for interviews or you may miss the opportunity to do so. For winter recruiting, Accepted candidates may sign up for interviews on February 13 and 14, 2008.

If you are an Alternate, you will be able to sign up for interviews on one day and will only be able to do so if all available time slots were not filled by the primary invitees during the first two days of sign-ups. For winter recruiting, Alternates may sign up for any remaining available interview slots on February 15, 2008.

Off-Campus Interviews

Employers conducting interviews off-campus are responsible for putting together their own interview schedules; within each job description, employers are asked to provide Special Interview Instructions directing accepted candidates on how interviews will be scheduled. While employers are asked to “Accept” or “Decline” students in SCDConline, students will NOT sign-up for interviews online for off-campus interviews - employers will contact students according to the Special Interview Instructions.

Even through employers may accept you for off-campus interviews, they may not reach out to you immediately. SCDC staff may not be able to verify the exact date of an interview. Any questions about off-campus interviews may be directed to the Manager of Career Services.
