Drexel University offers comprehensive advising services to students and alumni who are considering careers in law or medicine. These services include individual counseling, group information sessions, credential assessment, information about medical, dental and law schools, and application assistance.
Through collaborative relationships with Drexel’s College of Medicine and Earle Mack School of Law, the University offers accelerated BS/MD and BS/JD programs that allow highly qualified students to earn both their bachelors and professional degrees one year faster than normal. The BS/MD program can be completed in seven years; while the BS/JD program can be completed in six years.
Drexel is one of the only universities in the country where the prehealth and prelaw advisors are former admission officers.
