Employer Directed Resume Search
If you are a senior or recent graduate and are interested in being contacted by employers about job openings, put your SCDConline resume into the EDRS database!
What is EDRS? EDRS is the Employer Directed Resume Search, a database of resumes of seniors and recent alumni who are interested in employment after graduation.
How does EDRS work? You must first create an SCDConline resume in order to use EDRS. If you do not have an SCDConline resume, refer to our web site under Resources > SCDConline Resume for details. Once created, you may add your resume to the EDRS profiles.
Adding your resume to Employer Directed Resume Search (EDRS) Profiles
- Log in to DrexelOne at http://one.drexel.edu
- Click on “Students”
- Under “Coop / Steinbright Career Development Center” click on “More BannerWeb SCDC Services>>” (this brings you to the Main Menu for SCDC Services)
- Click on “Maintain Student EDRS Profile”
- Be certain to select Yes at the top of the screen if would like your resume to be viewed by employers. If you have more than one resume in SCDConline, you must select which one you would like employers to view; otherwise, your default resume will be selected.
- Set your search criteria (employers will search using these criteria to find resumes that match their hiring needs)
- Click “Save” when finished.
- You must update your profile every 90 days to keep your resume active in EDRS; you may also log back in and select No at the top of the screen to remove your resume from the active list seen by employers.
Employers can search the database for relevant skills; if your experience and skills match their needs, they will be able to download a copy of your resume and possibly contact you for an interview.
