From yoga and Pilates classes to nutritional counseling and personal training sessions, the Recreation Center provides members with the tools needed to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle. Members are invited to take advantage of additional wellness opportunities at the Recreation Center, including: a jogging and walking track, comprehensive fitness and strength equipment, aquatics, squash and climbing walls.
Drexel Proactive Health Services
Drexel Proactive Health offers Nutrition, Exercise, and therapeutic massage for a customized approach to health and fitness. Our newly constructed Private studio spaces allow clients one-on-one appointments with a specialist. Participants can purchase each service individually or combine them as part of a comprehensive and integrated package.
Personal Training
Professional fitness trainers help improve the client’s physical and aerobic conditioning, provide guidance and create a tailored training program based on his/her evaluation results, history and lifestyle.
Nutritional Counseling
Master dietitians help guide and plan meals, snacks, and cooking for better health and healing.
Massage Therapy
Massage is an excellent form of therapy and relaxation. The Recreation Center offers Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Combination Massage .
Group Exercise
Group exercise classes offer members the opportunity to work out under the guidance of educated instructors that emphasize fun, safety, and wellness. Class favorites include: abs, BodyPump™, Pilates, Spinning®, and yoga. Core classes are open to all Recreation Center members.
Pilates
The Drexel Recreation Center not only offers structured mat Pilates classes as part of the group exercise schedule, but we also have customizable private Pilates sessions available in one, three, and six sessions. Meet with a Pilates apprentice for coaching on one or many of the apparatuses, including tower, high chair, high barrel, and/or reformer.

Physical Therapy
Faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences provide out-patient clinical services at three locations in a variety of health care settings. Our practice provides evidence-based clinical services for persons in the surrounding community, serves to integrate academic and clinical experiences for our students, and facilitates clinical research.
