Chill Out Day
Chill Out before finals week with therapy dogs, Shake Shack custards, & chair massages! Who couldn't relax & de-stress with all of that!
Chill Out takes place in the Recreation Center lobby on December 4, 2013 from 5-8pm.
Do you have what it takes?
Come compete against other teams in this grueling obstacle course. Each team will only have 100 minutes to complete a variety of elements such as: HUMMV push, sled pull, and inverted zip line!

All participants will receive a Gauntlet t-shirt and pizza after the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.

Couch to 5K
Tuesdays at 5pm; from Tuesday, September 24, 2013 - Tuesday, October 29, 2013.
Couch to 5K is a program that will help students train to run a 5K, no matter what your current exercise habits are. This workshop will meet every Tuesday at 5pm in the Recreation Center lobby, leading up to the Philadelphia City 6 5K. The first workshop will be Tuesday, September 24th. Each session, a certified personal trainer will go over your week's workouts and discuss any potential barriers you might face. The second half of each session will consist of a group workout following the Couch to 5K training plan for that day.
Each participant has the chance to have their fee waived for the Philadelphia City 6 5K, taking place on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. To register, e-mail Kathryn Formica, Coordinator of Student Fitness & Wellness at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cycle for a Cure
Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2013 as we Cycle for a Cure. Drexel University students, faculty, & staff will have the opportunity to cycle for anywhere from 1-5 hours in order to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation - Philadelphia chapter.
