This provides a real life experience for this very fast paced, technical field of radiology. Drexel Radiology Laboratory is State-of-the-Art, computerized equipment and our students utilize the Laboratory on a daily basis. You will experience simulation exercises that complement and build your confidence, skills and knowledge associated with Radiologic imaging.

The majority of our instructors have practiced as Registried Radiologic Technologist for over 20 years and they bring to our classes their years of expertise to share with students. All of our programs Instructors have completed the Digital Imaging Academy sponsored by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist which keeps us abreast of with new applications and technology associated with our field.

  • Small classes - Small class size allows students the opportunity to interact with their instructors on a 1: 1 basic regularly throughout the program.
  • Cohort group - All radiology students start in the fall with their cohort group of 30 students. Students to take all courses (even general academic courses) with their group – you never travel alone throughout this program. This inspires teamwork, allowing students access to help from the instructor or another class member.
  • Advanced up-to-date equipment - Drexel students have laboratory instruction on a Fuji Computerized radiographic system that mimics a State-of-the Art system located in large radiology Hospitals. Each student receives a mini notebook loaded with course ebooks to facilitate the experience of technology.
