Radiology Compliance Requirements

In order to be compliant for clinical/ practicum, students must have the required clinical compliance submitted by the due date. If this is not met, the student will be considered non-compliant for clinical and will not be permitted to progress through the program. All students must meet the compliance requirements to be fully compliant for clinical/practicum rotations. The requirements are:

  1. Child Abuse Clearance Check
  2. Criminal Background Check
  3. FBI Fingerprint Result
  4. Urine Drug Screen –minimum, 10 panel screening
  5. Physical Exam and Immunization Records
  6. Seasonal Influenza Form (yearly, after August of that year)
  7. TwoStep PPD results initially, then a current One Step PPD annually
  8. Current CPR Certification (either Health Professional, American Heart or American Red Cross only)
  9. Current Emergency Contact Form
  10. Drexel HIPPA Certificate of Completion
  11. Drexel Safety and Health Online Trainingcomplete yearly
  12. Radiologic Technology Technical Standards
  13. ARRT Standard of Ethics

NOTE: Students are required to have current comprehensive medical insurance and carry the card with them to each clinical/practicum experience.

Clinical sites may have additional requirements that will need to be completed. Please consult with the clinical faculty member or preceptor for any other requirements.
