Introduction to Emergency Preparedness
The Drexel Emergency Preparedness Program (DEPP) combines planning, education, and practical exercises that are designed to improve institutional action and individual reaction in the event of an emergency.
DEPP aims to improve the University’s readiness to handle emergencies and administer public events through ongoing evaluation and risk mitigation: addressing emergency notifications, action strategies, and communications before, during, and after emergencies.
The program also addresses personal preparedness planning.
