Armour Floyd
Armour Floyd has over 35 years experience in the field of fire and life safety.
He is a 20-year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department, where he rose to the rank of lieutenant.
Floyd has been at Drexel University since 1991, serving as the Director of Fire and Life Safety since 1994.
He has studied at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD, receiving certificates in Fire Safety Public Education, Fire Safety Education Methodology, and Arson Detection. In addition, he has been an adjunct instructor at the National Fire Academy.
Floyd holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix, and in addition to other Fire Department citations, is the recipient of the Philadelphia Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Award.
