Synopsis

Each chapter contains a historical perspective of how technology has changed the operation in the past, a review of current systems and a look to the future regarding developments on the horizon. The book is written from a business perspective focusing on how technology and systems are used to make better decisions, improve customer service or streamline operations. Each chapter contains a glossary of key terms and exercises and case studies to help the reader apply the concepts learned.
