Philadelphia
Philadelphia (casually referred to as “Philly” and known as “The City of Brotherly Love”) is the largest city in Pennsylvania, and the 6th largest city in the US. The first zoo, the first hospital, and the first theater are all in Philly. The city is rich in history, culture and many points of interest.
Philadelphia is deeply rooted in American history, often called the birthplace of the United States. It was host to many of the ideas and actions that resulted in American independence. Philadelphia is thus home to many national historical sites like Independence Hall, the Constitution Center, and the Liberty Bell.
Philadelphia is also a diverse center of art and culture. The city’s major art museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is one of the largest art museums in the US. Philadelphia also has more public art than any other American city.
Philadelphia’s location is also ideal. It is an easy jumping point to New York City, Washington D.C., Baltimore, New Jersey beaches, and the Pocono mountains.
