We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about study abroad opportunities at Drexel. Whether you are a graduate student, an undergraduate student, a parent, or a Drexel colleague, we hope that you will find everything that you are looking for either at our website or by contacting our office.

Every Drexel student should give serious consideration to studying overseas. Regardless of where t Drexel degree takes you, there is no doubt that international opportunities will expand enormously over your lifetime. The experience gained through a term or several terms abroad provides students the opportunity to develop skills that can only be developed by immersing themselves in a different culture. You will have the opportunity to gain substantive understanding of another country’s perspective on the world, have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of yourself, your own society, and build language skills. During study abroad, students earn Drexel credits. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Feel free to explore our website and contact us for an individual appointment.

About Us

As the Director of the Office, I have the pleasure of working with a vibrant and dynamic group of professionals, who are dedicated to helping all students internationalize their Drexel experience.

The Study Abroad Office, under the Office of International Programs, serves as the administrative hub for study abroad programs and initiatives at Drexel University.

Last year over 300 Drexel students, from every major, studied abroad, taking advantage of more than 50 opportunities provided by the Study Abroad Office. Our programs are aimed at both undergraduate and graduate students and range in length from 1 week to a full 12 months. Our program locations are as varied as the interests of Drexel students — we have programs in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Pacific.

The Office also serves as the first point of contact for inbound non-matriculated exchange students who come to Drexel via our many exchange partners. These students may spend from one to three terms at Drexel as part of their undergraduate career.
