The Philadelphia Law School Fair
Date: Wednesday, September 24, 2008
Time: 2:00 to 6:00 pm
Place: 30th Street Station North Waiting Room
Representatives from approximately 120 law schools, Kaplan Test Prep, the Access Group and CLEO will be on hand to meet with prospective students, answer questions and distribute admission literature.
Resume Critique Days
Date: Monday, September 29, and Tuesday, September 30, 2008 (subject to change)
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Place: Creese Student Center, Behrakis Grand Hall (32nd & Chestnut Streets)
Prominent regional, national and multi-national employers will be on campus to critique students' resumes in preparation for the Fall Career Fair. This is also a great networking opportunity to get one-on-one career advice from potential future employers. This event is open to all Drexel University students.

Fall Career Fair 2008

The Steinbright Career Development Center is pleased to invite employers to Drexel University's Fall Career Fair.
Employers are invited to discuss co-op and full-time opportunities with students and alumni of Drexel University. Employer registration should be available online in late July or early August and the deadline to register will be in early September. For any questions, please contact the SCDC Events Coordinator.
Drexel University is pleased to host some of the largest university-held Career Fairs in the Greater Philadelphia area. Held in April and October, each event attracts more than 250 employers nationally. Approximately 1,000 Drexel students and alumnae/i attend this event, along with students from other area universities.
Employers are invited to campus to network with undergraduate and graduate students and alumni/ae and to discuss career interests and future career opportunities. Employers benefit from this annual event by meeting with exceptional candidates to whom they can provide information and answer questions about their company's positions, including full-time and co-op opportunities. Employers also come to Drexel's Career Fairs in an effort to pre-recruit future graduates.
With its strong technological focus, Drexel University has gained national recognition in curricular innovation and cooperative education. At Drexel, students can earn a B.S., M.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. in any one of ten colleges and three schools, ranging from the liberal arts, computer science, business, design arts, engineering, law, medicine and allied health professions.
Drexel also became part of an elite group of American universities classified as Doctoral/Research Universities-Extensive. The new Drexel joins the top 100 U.S. universities in federal research expenditures and market value of endowment.

The Steinbright Career Development Center and College of Engineering of Drexel University invite you to attend Drexel University's 5th Annual Engineers Week Career Fair.
The career fair is part of National Engineers Week and is a great opportunity for students to discuss career opportunities and co-op positions with organizations interested in recruiting students from Drexel University's College of Engineering. This career fair is for Drexel students and alumni only.

EMPLOYERS: Registered employers are invited to arrive at the career fair as early as 8:00 am to check in and begin set-up for the fair; students will be admitted to the fair at 10:00 am. Resume Critique Days allow employers to provide Drexel students valuable feedback on their resumes as they prepare for the Career Fair on Wednesday, October 3. This is also a great opportunity for employers to network with a variety of students and promote your organization on campus.
Employers can participate for a half day (9am to 12 noon or 1pm to 4pm), a full day or both days. You can even send more than one representative! That day, we will ask you which majors you would like to target and try to direct those students to your table. Lunch will be also provided.

Career Fair Cancellation/Refund Policy
We confirm registrations for this event on a first come, first served basis. When you submit your registration, you will receive an acknowledgement email; we will review and CONFIRM registrations daily, at which time you will receive a final confirmation email.
Once capacity for this event is reached, you will still be able to register online however you will automatically be placed on a wait-list. Please DO NOT mail a check until your registration has been confirmed, if space becomes available.

Networking Night
The final major recruiting event for graduating students prior to June graduation, Networking Night is a reception-style event that provides an opportunity for you to make personal connections with students regarding career opportunities as well as to brand your organization to students.

To ensure ample opportunity for interaction with students, participation will be limited and registration is required to attend. We would ask each organization to bring no more than 4 representatives to ensure we can accommodate the best range of employer participation. With your request to participate, please also tell us the types of career opportunities you have available and/or which majors are your target majors for your recruiting efforts.
When we confirm your participation, we will follow up to request the names and contact information for each individual participant. We will also send more detailed information and directions to the event.

- An opportunity for employers to meet students one-on-one and in small groups.
- An occasion to develop rapport and establish new, beneficial connections.
- Another approach to maximize your organization's exposure to students.
- A way for students to learn about career options and paths.
- An opportunity for students to get advice about job objectives and how to pursue specific opportunities.
- An opportunity to collect resumes from candidates on the job search.

- Attire is "business casual."
- Refreshments will be provided.
- Employers with currently available job opportunities may collect resumes at the event; please send a job description to the SCDC Events Coordinator once you have confirmed your participation.
