Mission:
Our
mission is to support the academic goals of the University. The Office
of the University Registrar develops and maintains accurate and timely
processes that directly affect our students and faculty. We provide
ongoing process enhancement while adhering and enforcing Drexel University’s
academic policies. We uphold the integrity of the institution by maintaining
the accuracy of every student's academic record with the assurance
that they receive exemplary customer service, while working within
the framework of FERPA. About
the University Registrar
Joseph
Salomone has been with Drexel University since 1989. He manages
the current Registrar offices for all three campuses (University
City, Center City, and Queen Lane) and supervises a staff of 16
employees. He serves on academic advisory boards as well as various
University-wide committees. Joseph's background is in academic systems.
He worked on implementing the Banner student system across all three
campuses and consequently has established a rapport with departments,
faculty, staff, and students.
Prior
to assuming the position of University Registrar, he served in the
capacity of Registrar and as Director of Information and Systems.
Joseph has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master's degrees
in both Education and Information Systems from Drexel University.
Joseph is well versed in the academic enterprise having functioned
as a student, faculty member, and staff member at Drexel University.
The
Office of the University Registrar is located in Curtis Hall, room
261. The services provided by the office include:

Dean's List and Academic Probation management
Academic degree conferral and distribution
Certification and transcript processing
Course scheduling management
Final examination scheduling
Instructional space allocation
Course registration management

Participation in academic policy development, adherence and implementation
