FERPA Officer
The University Registrar, Joseph Salomone serves as the FERPA officer for the University. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to students who are at least eighteen years old or who attend or attended a post-secondary institution, even if they have not reached the age of eighteen.
Room Scheduling
The Office of the University Registrar manages the assignment of instructional space for each respective term in coordination with the Colleges and academic departments.
Academic Standing
Student academic standing is determined on a term basis at the close of each term, to be effective the first day of the subsequent term of study. The Office of the University Registrar facilitates the notification to all students and manages the Academic Standing process for each term.
Graduation & Degree Clearance
The degree clearance process is managed by the Office of the University Registrar working collaboratively with the Colleges and academic departments. The Degree verification process is facilitated by the through the National Student Clearinghouse.
Transcripts & Certifications
All current students can request an official transcript or certification of enrollment online via DrexelOne. All Alumni can request either through the National Student Clearinghouse.
