Audit Option

Policy revision date: Fall 2006

Graduate students may audit a course when they wish to receive instruction in a particular area but do not wish to receive a grade or credit. Graduate Students must obtain permission from their advisor and their instructor regarding course audits.

If a student is currently enrolled in a course and wishes to change to the Audit Option, this must be done by the end of the sixth week of the term, and with the approval of the instructor and the advisor.

Courses taken under the Audit Option cannot eventually be taken for credit.
