DAAD RISE North America
Another program of potential interest to faculty-researchers with an interest in internationalism is the DAAD RISE North America (which has now been expanded to be RISE Worldwide). DAAD is the umbrella organization for academic exchange between the US and Germany. The program, modeled on the very successful RISE program for US students, allows US STEM faculty researchers to host a German student in their labs for the summer, with student expenses paid by the German government.
