Welcome to the Drexel Center for Academic Excellence (DCAE)
Launched in 2005, the DCAE is committed to providing a variety of services to all Drexel University faculty to enhance, augment and improve their academic and professional experiences. We are committed to the premise that student learning is inextricably linked to effective teaching.
We offer a wide variety of programs that meet the needs of faculty at various stages in their careers and on a wide range of topics related to meeting those needs. Among the services we offer are topical workshops, portfolio development sessions, confidential individual consultations on teaching, customized workshops for departments and colleges, and opportunities to meet and interact with colleagues across the University in formal and informal settings. In addition, we offer opportunities to meet and learn from nationally known experts.
It is our hope that all faculty will attend as many of our activities as possible. We do award certificates to those faculty who are able to attend three or more events during the academic year.
