Session Overview
Drexel University used a collaborative process to develop a set of institution-level learning goals. Who developed them? Why were they developed? How might they relate to learning in my program or in the courses I teach?
In this hands-on plenary session we explored these questions and ways these goals can help us better understand and communicate student learning within and across courses, programs, colleges, and schools.
Session Outcomes
- Identify the 11 Drexel institution-level learning goals
- Discuss how institutional, programmatic, and course-level learning are related
- Discuss the role of the faculty in supporting learning at all three levels
- Discuss the role of the syllabus in supporting student learning
