Funding Sources: Government, Corporations, Foundations

This workshop covered the role of the Offices of Research and Corporate and Foundation Relations in securing external funding support for faculty. In this workshop we discussed researching potential sources of government/corporate/foundation support, conducting conference calls with funders, developing proposals and budgets, gathering supporting documents, finalizing submissions and stewarding awards including timely filing of reports. This workshop also covered strategies for positioning faculty research for successful funding. The presenters were:
