DCAE/CFR Mini-Workshop: Prospecting for Funders During Lunch

This event, co-sponsored by the Drexel Center for Academic Excellence (DCAE) and Drexel’s Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) Office, provided an opportunity to have a conversation, one-on-one, with a member of Drexel’s Corporate & Foundation Relations Office to:
- Discuss your project
- Identify the type of funding needed to complete the project
- Research potential funders with a CFR staff member
- Assess next action steps for deeper prospect research or for applying to an identified funder
This event also served as an opportunity to learn more about the extensive resources CFR can provide to faculty members, including:
- In-depth prospect research
- Development of draft LOIs/proposals
- Re-working declined proposals and LOIs for new funders
- Arrangement of conference calls with foundation/corporate program officers
- Supplementary documents (e.g. 501c3, university annual reports)
