Best Practices in Budget Design

This workshop focused on general best practices in budget design such as effective methods of describing expenses, appropriate sources for information on standard rates (e.g. per diem), descriptions of key terms, and more. Participants will be able to apply the general knowledge attained at this workshop to a variety of activities involving the creation of budgets such as class trip proposals and proposals for the junior (pre-tenure) Drexel Career Development Awards; however, this session did not focus on specific particularities of the financial system of the University.
