Subject: Celebration of Eid al-Fitr by the Muslim community

As a follow-up to the Drexel Announcement on Religious Observances sent on October 19th, I am writing to make the Drexel Community aware of the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Fitr that extends from sundown on October 23rd through October 24th.
On this as on other religious occasions, we recognize that faculty, students, and staff may observe practices that preclude them from attending to their regular schedule and ask that accommodations be made for them. It is equally important for all those who do not share in these same practices to accommodate their colleagues and peers.
