The Center for Labor Markets and Policy (CLMP) is an applied research, teaching and technical consulting unit within Drexel University that is focused on a variety of human resource development issues and their connections to the labor market.

CLMP deploys its expertise in human resource development economics and labor market analysis to support improvements in human resource development planning, programming, evaluation and finance at local, state, regional, and national levels.

CLMP works with national, regional, state and local governments, workforce development organizations, business and organized labor, the non-profit community and other interested entities to foster the human resource development system of the nation and the region.

As part of its core mission, CLMP provides research, training and technical assistance support to Drexel University including the Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC), assisting SCDC staff in support of their mission of providing high quality work experience and career transition services to Drexel’s undergraduate and graduate students.

CLMP works to foster interdisciplinary research, evaluation and policy activities with individual scholars and organizations across Drexel University.
