For those students who choose to commute during the program and/or in the fall, we have included some helpful information and links below to assist with traveling to and from campus.
If you will be driving, parking is available on- and off-campus.
If you are interested in parking in a Drexel Parking Lot on campus you will need a parking permit. The cost varies based upon your choice and you must apply to request a parking permit.
The surrounding area has many locations for parking. The spots closest to the academic and administrative buildings are metered. However if you don't mind a few minute walk then you can find free or time-limit parking a few blocks away.
To avoid tickets and the need for change, we recommend purchasing a SmartCard. For more information visit the Philadelphia Parking Authority website.
Drexel is accessible from various bus, trolleys, and train routes in and around Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Take a look at more in-depth information on transportation to the University.
If you are familiar with Philadelphia and you would like to plan your trip visit www.septa.org and use the Trip Planner.
Also to help you manage the commute Drexel offers lockers for rent. They can be rented per term and can be renewed each term.
