Drexel Smart Source
Drexel Smart Source is an eProcurement application designed to make the purchase of goods and services easier for faculty and staff by automating the procure-to-pay process.
Launched Monday, September 29, 2014, Smart Source is accessible from the Employee Tab in DrexelOne. It is the primary method to purchase goods and services at Drexel University and The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. The marketplace allows faculty and staff to browse and shop catalogs (e.g., Telrose, Fisher Scientific, Dell, Grainger, Graybar, Perkin Elmer, etc.) without having to utilize a PCard, add items to a cart, submit the RTP electronically and route RTPs to the appropriate approver. Complex purchases, such as capital equipment and professional services, will also be processed in the marketplace using the non-catalog item form or, if appropriate, sole source justification form or multi-year form.
Please check with your immediate supervisor to determine the role you have been assigned in Smart Source. If you are unsure of your Smart Source role, please log into Smart Source and go to your profile and review User Role and Access, Assigned roles. Training is encouraged before logging into Smart Source. You may register here: Smart Source Training Registration. Log in requires your Drexel Domain User ID (e.g., email@example.com) and password. (Problems logging into the registration site? please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.)
