Facilities

The facilities in the Department of Performing Arts support student involvement in the arts by providing performance venues for student, university and outside professional groups as well as practice spaces for artists in music, theatre and dance. The department spaces include two formal performance venues, the Mandell and Black Box Theaters, and an informal performance venue, the 418 Main Dance Studio.

In addition to rehearsal spaces in MacAlister Hall, the Main Building, and the URBN Annex, the department houses a fully equipped Pilates Studio, available to students, faculty, staff, and outside clients in the Recreation Center.

For information about use of any of these facilities, please contact the Department of Performing Arts at 215.895.2451 or visit us in MacAlister Hall, room 2018.
