New applicants are advised to inquire on the availability of parking permits at the Parking Office. A waiting list is maintained for current openings. Those on the waiting list are accommodated in turn.

If space is available, a parking permit sales contract must be completed with all pertinent data, signed and dated.

Vehicle Registration
All information on the parking permit sales contract must be kept current. If you need to add or change any information, please do so by stopping by the Parking Office when open, by mail or emailing parking@drexel.edu. State your name, parking lot letter and number, and the changes you are making. Please include the license plate number, vehicle identification number (VIN), address, etc. Only registered vehicles may use a permit, so please do not delay notifying the Parking Office of changes to your parking permit sales contract.

Temporary Replacement Vehicle
The Parking Office must be notified when a non registered vehicle is being parked in any lot or in the Drexel Parking Garage, such as a rental vehicle.

Renewal Policy
It is incumbent upon each permit holder to follow the renewal procedure to be assured a parking permit continuation. ANYONE WHO FAILS TO RENEW HIS/HER PARKING PERMIT DURING THE PRESCRIBED PERIOD WILL BE RETURNED TO NEW APPLICANT STATUS.

Renewal memorandums are posted on the Parking Services website, as well as the bulletin board in the Drexel Parking Garage lobby each term. The renewal memorandum contains all the pertinent information, such as fees, dates, and deadlines for renewal.

Renewal Payments for the succeeding term are due before the end of finals week. To renew your parking permit, mail or drop off your check or money order to the Parking Office.

A term permit holder may elect to pay for 1, 2, 3, or 4 terms of parking each fall term. Payment may be made at the Parking Office by check, money order, or completing a payroll deduction form for Drexel employees. Those wishing to pay in advance for succeeding terms are automatically renewed for those terms.

If you are unable come to the Parking Services Office, you may mail your parking permit sales contract and a personal check or money order to:

Drexel University
attn: Parking Office
3141 Chestnut Street
Philadelphia, PA 19104

You may also make payment by calling 215.895.2813 with a credit card to hold your permit until you are able to submit your contract in person.

Employee Cessation Policy
Employees may terminate or begin parking on a calendar month basis only.

Continuity Maintained (Faculty Only)
To avoid being dropped from renewal status a continuity policy has been developed to accommodate faculty members with paid parking permits for three consecutive terms (9 months), but have off for their summer term. Continuity can be kept by submitting a $10.00 fee by the end of the renewal period. The fee will serve as a reservation notice for the next term, but does not provide term parking and is not credited towards any term parking fee.
