    U.S. Treasury Department Honors Drexel President Constantine Papadakis
    June 5, 2002


    PHILADELPHIA (June 5, 2002) — Drexel President Constantine Papadakis received the United States Treasury Department’s Medal of Merit for Service from Jonathan Pepper, the U.S. Department of the Treasury district director for Philadelphia, and Treasury marketing representative Phillip Delikat . Papadakis earned the Medal of Merit for his service to the 2001 U.S. Savings Bond Volunteer Committee. Papadakis appeared in a public service announcement promoting the benefits of buying savings bonds and provided leadership for the Philadelphia Geographic Campaign.
