    Founding Father of the Internet to Join Thousands at New State-of-the-Art Web Site Premiere at Drexel
    April 20, 1997


    Event: Drexel alumnus Paul Baran, whose work in the 1960s on government computer and communications networks helped lay the foundation for what is today the Internet, will join Drexel President Constantine Papadakis to officially launch the new Drexel University Internet Web site.

    When: Sunday, April 20, 1997; 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

    Where: Drexel alumnus - Paul Baran - is universally regarded as one of the founders of the Internet. He will give demonstrations to students in the Korman Center at Drexel, 33rd and Market Sts.
