Promote Your Organization - Electronic

CollegiateLink
Our new student organization management system, CollegiateLink, allows groups to create a Facebook‐type webpage where mission and goals, pictures, documents, and rosters can be uploaded, and it provides a mechanism to recruit new members. Further, CollegiateLink has a bulletin board and events calendar that provides a wonderful opportunity to promote activities, meetings, fundraisers, and service projects. Click here for a comprehensive resource guide to managing and updating your organization’s website.

Drexel InfoNET (LCD Screens)
www.drexel.edu/infonet
To place an advertisement on the Drexel InfoNET, create a JPEG at a resolution of 72 dpi. The image should be exactly 1360 pixels wide by 564 pixels high. Submit your ad using the form on the InfoNET website. Only include absolutely necessary information on your image. Students will be viewing these ads for 3 - 4 seconds from up to 15 feet away - use text sparingly and when you do, make sure it’s large.

Drexel Daily Digest
The Drexel Digest was replaced by the new University Events Calendar on September 19, 2011. No further editions of the Drexel Digest will be published. To post events, visit the University Events Calendar website and the DrexelNow website.

DrexelNow and the University Events Calendar
The new University Events Calendar is now online at www.drexel.edu/events. This new comprehensive calendar will make sharing and promoting events at Drexel easier than ever before. Furthermore, DrexelNow serves as a dynamic new resource for campus news, announcements, social media and more. It can be found at www.drexel.edu/now. DrexelNow is home to news and features about our incredible students, renowned faculty, groundbreaking research, and athletics, arts and culture events. In short, DrexelNow delivers a daily snapshot of life at this great University. The site also features customized content for students, faculty and professional staff and parents, including important announcements from departments across the University. That content will also be delivered to each of those groups through a suite of new email newsletters. University Communications will also publish a quarterly print edition of DrexelNow, called the Drexel Quarterly, which will replace Drexelink. To submit story ideas, suggestions and comments, contact the DrexelNow staff at now.editor@drexel.edu.

The Drexel University Events Calendar displays information for upcoming events at Drexel in a calendar format. For events to be included, click on “Submit an Event” on the Calendar page and follow the on-line form process.  Your submission is subject to editing and approval.

DrexelOne Campus Announcements
DrexelOne Campus Announcements highlight upcoming events and automatically appears when someone logs onto their DrexelOne account.

DrexelOne pulls their announcements from the Daily Digest (see above for details on how to submit to the Drexel Daily Digest).  Announcements need to be submitted first to the Daily Digest.   In addition, we also recommend submitting information to the events calendar here: http://www.drexel.edu/events/submit.aspx . Your submission is subject to editing.

WKDU 91.7
WKDU is Drexel’s non-commercial radio station broadcasting on 91.7 FM and streaming online at WKDU.org. The station is a useful tool for promoting and DJ’ing Drexel events!
DJs/DJ’ing events: WKDU can DJ any Drexel event for minimal costs. We have DJ equipment and fully trained, experienced DJs capable of playing a wide selection of music. We charge $50 per hour for the first two hours and $25 for each additional hour.
Underwriting: Underwriting is a way organizations can show their support for WKDU in return for having their organization and event announced and supported on air. By donating to WKDU, an organization can sponsor a radio show and once per hour, the event and organization is announced on air. Also, a flyer is put on our website, WKDU.org, which boosts over 9,000 hits a month.  Underwriting is a great way to get information for your organization or event to  Drexel students and Philly residents!
Pricing: For a limited time, underwriting is 50% of the full price!

  • Three Weeks (six announcements) – $60           (originally $120)
  • Five Weeks (ten announcements) – $85              (originally $170)
  • Eight Weeks (sixteen announcements) – $120   (originally $240)
